About Covington Washington
Covington, Washington had a population of 17,575 according to the 2010 census. Covington is located in King County. There are many different things for visitors and their families to see and do in and around Covington. Visitors and their families can enjoy a four course breakfast or the Grand Tasting Menu at the Dining Room at the Salish Lodge and Spa, located in nearby Fall City. This lodge was built around a 1916 fireplace and is unique in that there is no dress code. Visitors and their families can dress up or wear casual clothes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, it is recommended that visitors get reservations for this exclusive meal. Visitors and their families may hear themselves scream when they enter The Fright Factory, located in nearby Buckley. Within this very disturbing haunted house there is all of the blood, gore, and other gruesome atrocities that lovers of the extreme occult could ever want. This place puts a very realistic and horrifying show and it isnít for the squeamish. The Tacoma Dome seats as many as 23,000 visitors and is one of the largest structures that are domed with wood in the world. Events at the Tacoma Dome include some festivals such as the annual Tacoma Home Show and the Holiday Food and Gift Festival. Such performers as Kenny Chesney, Brittney Spears, and Motely Crue have performed for visitors and their families here. Sporting events such as Monster truck, the WIAA football championships, the WWE, and motocross have also taken place here. Visitors and their families might want to try The Gauntlet, also located in Tacoma, to have some lunch of the best brats, sausages, hotdogs, dirty nachos, and beer in town. They also carry and menu for vegans and vegetarians and everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. After lunch, visitors and their families might want to visit the Harvard Exit Theater, located in nearby Seattle. This haunted theater can only be described as luxurious but rather unusual, luxurious home rather than a theater. This three story brick building was built on the location where another house had once existed in the same location in the 1900's. There are ghost of a man named Peter on the first floor, a short woman short actress dressed in a long Victorian era dress, who was met a violent end by being suffocated on the second floor, and the spirit of Bertha Landis on the third floor lobby. The living simply has to accept having to share the building with all of the unseen forces and spirits who reside in the Harvard Exit Theater.
